I'll make this quick, because that is what this tool is all about!
When I work with agents on their listings, I'm almost always emailed the file of photos for our marketing, MLS, websites etc. Every so often I wil be emailed a HUGE file of photos that are extremly high resolution, and all need to be resized to upload to the various sites and the MLS.
I wanted something that would allow me to to resize the whole file, not just each photo one by one. So I came across Dosize. It is a program that will allow me to Upload all of my high resolution photos, and have them resized all at one time, and I can quickly email them back to myself (or to someone else) in the size I need, at the speed of lightening. The best part is..Its FREE, I don't need an account, and its all online...no software to download!
So, when you need to have a bulk of photos resized, check this one out!

I use picasa that does it too. You just highlight them all at once.
Hi Russ~ I have Picasa too, but have never seen the resizing tool. Can you tell me more about it? I can crop and edit, but not resize the whole file..?
I will definitely be checkin this one out. It is so aggravating when I am resizing photos one by one. It takes forever. What a timesaver.
Thanks for the info you two. I went to the site, and there was a link to Picasa. I took the tour and it looks like a really good product...and it's free!
Muldowney Team~ It sure does! It saved me like 2 hours!! Awesome!
Gregory~ Picasa is really great, but I haven't figured out the resize tool there yet:( IN the meantime this one is awesome too!
Hi Laura. Thanks for sharing the great tip! Keep them coming.
laura, Thank you for sharing. I will try it next time. I like the fact that it is free.
LAURA - This is great. I actually found one that lets me do it one at a time, but this will be much quicker. Thanks for the tip.
What a great find Laura, thanks a bunch for this one. I thought I was the Queen of finding free and useful programs that help me save time for my clients, looks like you are too. I've been very bad about blogging and I recently decided that I would make a committment to begin soon, I think I'll start by sharing all the cool tools and gadgets that I have come across over the course of time. There are so many great Web 2.0 programs out there now that are huge time savers.
Laura, thanks. I re-size a lot of photos that I post on a few websites, this could be handy.
That's a good program to use if you don't have a Mac or are the recipient of a pile of photos. When I look at photos I've taken, I have my computer set to open them in Preview instead of Photoshop, which will let me crop, lighten and resize on the fly. But you can also auto batch them in Leopard. Then I save a set for the web and another set for high rez print.
I love shared knowledge. Thanks Laura.
good post..thanks for this new tip..I am always learning from you...
Thanks Laura this is great
Laura,

Photoshop elements has Process Multiple Files.

u can also use Photo Optimizer to compress and resize your digital photos. It can help you to save more than 80% disk space. And converts hundreds of pictures within two minutes.
Thanks for that awesome tip, Laura! I will definitely have to add checking this site out to my ever-growing to do list.
Microsoft has a power toy called Image Resizerbut only works with XP. It is a small install and can right click on any photo on the hard drive to resize (including custom) or select a group and resize all at once. Very quick and easy on the fly.
Thanks for the link I'll have to try it when I have time.
HI Laura, Thank you for sharing this information. Anything that's quick and easy is cool with me!!
All the best,
Laura - MWA!! This one's a doozie!! (sorry) You know how I love this stuff, being a photographer and all. My photos all come out 2048x1440 at 3-8 megs each. Ouch! Could you imagine what a photo that size would do to an AR post or comment? Geez!! Can't wait to check this one out, and to see ya next week, thanks. :-))
You are still coming to RE Connect right? RIGHT?? Picture time!! lol~
Awesome - thanks for sharing!
I use Microsoft Office Picture manager. Just highlight or select all the photos you want to re-size. Click on re-size and select the size you want....... Presto! You can rename them and save so your originals don't change. Quick, Fast, easy! And it comes with Microsoft Office.
Pam
Hey Laura,
This will make working with listing photos so much easier. Thanks for posting this.
Laura - what a great tip. I rarely do much with my photos but should do more. Another great tool to add to the list that keeps growing and growing. Thanks.
Jeff

Laura,
This is just what I have been looking for. I have several clients that have a problem resizing photos for my publication. I am sending the link to all. THANKS A BUNCH!!!!! Tracey
Batch processing is also available in Photoshop Elements (a lot of people have the program). Select 'Process Multiple Files' from the File menu.
Well this looks like a doozie of an idea, thanks for the help!
Laura, you find the best stuff! Thanks so much!
that looks like a useful tool. Its hard resizing so many everytime you need to work with pics.
