OK, Who can deny that social networking is becoming a top tool for real estate professionals?
Point 2 Agent launches a new partnership with Facebook. Facebook has over 30 million members with 150,000 joining every week. So...Point 2 is offering a membership application to Facebook which will allow you to join a "neighborhood", and add info and connect to those who live there.
Not only that, but the Point 2 NLS system, will soon start syndication of your listings to Facebook, once you have a profile. This partnership is its beginning stages but with the website you can get through Point2 , its a great way to increase your on-line presence, especially if you are already using Facebook.
Just thought I'd pass on the news.... ;)

Marcus~ Thanks for commenting...and your welcome:)
Ryan~ It's worth looking into I think...especially if you are already familiar with Facebook.
Piero~ I know, it is getting overwhelming. Every week I add more and more online marketing to my weekly tasks. It's important to try new things and track your efforts for success. Then if one or the other is not receiving much success, I would say drop it for a bit and focus where you are finding success. However, with Point2 technologies...I think this one is worth it;)
Pam~ Yes, me too. I just can't believe how many features Point2 is offering...the list keeps growing. I'll be looking into it a bit more, so if you try and have any feedback to share, let me know;)
Laura.... I haven't even looked at facebook as of yet. Just so much to try and look at and not enough time.
Matthew, there was already a Point2Agent group started previously. Would you like to meet up with us there? Here's the URL:

Suzanne~No problem;) Point 2 partnerships are a very nice advantage, and are doing a great job keeping on top of all the trends~
Matthew~ OK, I know about the first Point 2 site, but I'll check yours out as well~
George~Thanks for stopping and commenting! The partnerships are great. Many of my clients are already utilizing the syndications outside of their Point 2 sites, but with both together it's a double wammy. I even noticed the other day the the new KWLS system is syndicating their listings to Point2 Homes.
Matthew, the other Point2 group that I was referring to was started by Jay Thompson, not me. It doesn't get a a lot of traffic in spite of P2A's large membership, so I personally would love to see unified participation in the existing group.
George, what is the KWLS system that you referred to? I'm a big fan of P2A's syndication. Last week one of my clients got a seller lead from Point2Homes.com even before his web site was finished. He's on vacation so I don't know yet whether he got the contract but he probably did since the seller called because my client specializes in the seller's historic neighborhood. His old AA site, several years old, had never even achieved any page rank, so having his historic neighborhood listings on Point2Homes.com come up on Google's first page was a huge benefit.
And, of course, another huge benefit of having a P2A site is that you could work with a sweet, beautiful VA like Laura! -:)
Greetings all. I'm just getting started with the whole Point2 site and services and had just posted a blog earlier today asking for some opinions. Would love to have any of you stop buy and ad your opinions. And thank you to all of those who had already commented.

Hi all. I'm new to AR and have been a P2 Standard Member for several years. I'm wondering how to take advantage of this new Facebook connection. I recently signed up after the notification from P2. My teenagers found out and said, "Dad, that's gross!" Now their friends are adding me as friends! I have to say it's a little weird to have these kids who grew up with mine adding me as a friend.
Anyway, any suggestions how to take advantage of this whole thing?
